Design Philosophy
Villa Stella Chiara represents a complete transformation: what was once a ruin has been entirely rebuilt and reimagined from the ground up. The project respects the traditional building principles of Piedmont while introducing a contemporary, Scandinavian-influenced approach to space, light, and proportion.
Pascale’s approach is intentional and restrained:
Material-driven design – natural stone (Langhe stone), wood, and mineral finishes create depth and calm
Light and views as architecture – every space is oriented toward the landscape and horizon
Fewer, better choices – reduced visual noise, with emphasis on quality and longevity
Seamless indoor–outdoor living – terraces, kitchen, and pool area function as one continuous environment
The Transformation of Villa Stella Chiara
The house has been developed as a hybrid between restoration and new construction. While rooted in traditional materials and local craftsmanship, it integrates modern comfort, technical systems, and energy-conscious solutions.
The layout is designed to feel intuitive and effortless:
The ground floor connects kitchen, dining, and living spaces in a fluid sequence extending toward the terraces and pool
The first floor is conceived as a calm retreat, with well-proportioned bedrooms and direct access to a large covered terrace
Transitions between spaces are minimized to create clarity and ease of use
The outdoor areas are treated with the same level of intention as the interiors. The infinity pool, kitchen garden, and stone terraces are integrated into the natural landscape rather than imposed on it.
A Curated Living Experience
Villa Stella Chiara is designed to be lived in—not just admired.
Every detail, from material choices to spatial flow and curated elements such as local wines, is selected to support a calm, coherent, and high-quality experience.
The result is a home that feels both rooted and refined: deeply connected to Piemonte, yet shaped by a distinctly Nordic sense of clarity and simplicity.
